Retainers are comfortable for agencies and uncomfortable for clients. They obscure how much work is actually happening, and they make it awkward to stop. Selling defined scopes means you can buy a single audit, see whether we're any good, and only then commit to something ongoing. A good number of our clients never move past buying individual packages, and that's a perfectly reasonable outcome.
Mostly small and mid-sized brands doing their own marketing who need specific gaps filled — a channel they've never set up properly, creative they don't have the team to produce, or an honest read on why their spend isn't converting. We're comfortable working alongside an in-house marketer rather than replacing one.
